YAARB Displays Storytelling Skills On Latest Project ‘Letter 2 The Streets’

Letter 2 The Streets is YAARB‘s most recent effort, which was just released, and it sets the tone for what the budding talent may anticipate in the future.

“I would define my sound as soulful, real, and real hip hop,” YAARB said in a recent interview. “I would tell them it’s for the ears!”

The six-track album is a compilation of tales and reflections about his upbringing in his hometown, Compton, California. Listeners from all walks of life may relate and empathize with YAARB’s delivery because he is so honest about what he has seen and experienced. YAARB gets vocal about his experiences, and portrays himself as an artist who’s here to stay. His skillful execution is seen throughout the 6-track project, with standout songs being “Don’t Worry,” “Ghetto Gates” ft. THIIRD, and “Lone Wolf,” — each which offer something new and distinct to the listener.

In a recent interview, YAARB stated, “I’m passionate about music because a lot of us don’t know how to express our feelings or talk. I believe music is the easiest way to do so. Music is one of the ways I can be heard. Showing people that my voice can be heard is what inspires me to make music.”

His project ‘Letter 2 the Streets’ recounts many incidents that he has observed, eventually emphasizing the importance of not having to be a street thug. The Compton, California bares his truth throughout the project, while delivering conscious lyrics and effortless storytelling to his audiences.

The album’s outstanding track, “Ghetto Gates” feat. THIIIRD, finds the musicians pondering if heaven contains a ghetto. It’s a song that shows YAARB’s abilities while also expressing some of the feelings he’s had as a result of growing up in his hometown.

“To tour the world,” YAARB said when asked about some of his future professional goals. “. I want to share my music and get my voice spread out for people that feel like I do. I want people to know what we’re really made of!”

YAARB wants listeners to take away the message “it’s alright to be yourself and love yourself,” regardless of their surroundings or situations, although the tape’s main focus is on his own personal experiences.
