UK Vocalist bleacher boy Drops Off His Engaging New Single, “Like The First Time”
Over the last few years, artists have attempted to pivot and navigate the post-pandemic waters that have resulted in a completely different business. What was once a live-performance driven industry, the ripple effects of the pandemic and staying inside have led to different factors in 2022. Instead of high energy acts that are mainly meant to see live, the newer crop of artists catching steam are engaging artists with relatable lyrics that breed empathy and a sense of connection. Looking to establish himself in that vein, rising artist bleacher boy checks in with his new single, “Like The First Time.”
Mixing modernity with early 2000s nostalgia, bleacher boy is a self-producing artist from Greater London, UK. Although new to the game, he’s been refining his craft for the past few years and strategizing to make waves in the underground music community compiling a catalogue of unreleased tracks he says intended to help create a buzz online in a short amount of time. The first of these releases is LoFi bedroom pop-leaning with a hint-of-rap track “Like The First Time,” which showcases his sombre tone and smooth flow as well as his production ability with a nostalgic sounding beat which he tells us he created from scratch.
Although taking a modest approach and choosing to not label himself a producer or engineer at this stage, it’s clear he also has a talent in this field and an ear for production. Listen to the single below and get familiar for yourself.
