Type Uno Drops New Project, ‘FOR the LOVE’ – Based On “A True Love Story”

Windsor Hills native, Type Uno, is sure to make waves with his latest project FOR the LOVE, an eight-track project about love and the hot and cold of relationships. Type Uno first got his start in high school and has been making music ever since. He garnered his artist name after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and making it his name since he was the only one in his family to be diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. His sound is almost nostalgic yet has this innovation and unique cadence that is gripping. There is this shocking vulnerability and fuck-you-energy that seeps from his sound. From his catchy beats, original flow, and lyrical capability, Type Uno is sure to break necks with his latest release, FOR the LOVE.

The project, FOR the LOVE, is a “true love story” based on Type Uno’s love life and features Uno’s from the good to falling “apart,” as the relationship demises, “you have the love side of the project, and then you have the cold-hearted side of the project.” Type Uno has this incredible way of exuding his raw energy into his music, making a body-moving, hip-shaking sound that is bound to get anyone’s attention.

Type Uno’s project FOR the LOVE opens up with “Me And You” which has a flair and old-school flow and melody that is bound to get you bobbing your head and singing along. He then doubles down on that nostalgic sound with his next track, “REST OF MY LIFE,” which samples TLC’s “No Scrubs,” giving the song new life in a modern rap record. The track is maybe the most memorable on the project, with Type Uno showcasing his versatility and dexterity.

The project then features “Time With You” a ride or die track for you and your boo. The song has a laid-back cadence that is easy to vibe and rock out with your significant other, creating the ultimate feel-good, love song. The next track, “PROMISE,” is another feel-good love song that will leave you and your significant other in your feels and all sentimental. The chorus is melodic and is one of those songs that will have you singing along by the end of the track.

The project is then separated by “The Idea Of What Was True (Poem),” which acts as a turning point for the project, a powerful and dope way of articulating a break or problem in the relationship. The track, “No More,” follows the poem, which features malice and heartbreak from Type Uno who is hurt and broken-hearted from the relationship, so much so, he doesn’t want anything to do with her.

Type Uno then doubles down on not going back to the relationship with his song, “Bullshit,” featuring Brevin Rowand and Tyler Loyal. The song features the theme of being heartbroken and cheated on, with Type Uno hinting at her being on that sneaky phone shit and having a new man. The chorus implies it is always some “bullshit” with their relationship. The final track, “CAN’T HOLD ONTO YOU,” opens about the betrayal and shortcomings of the relationship. The song is lyrical and conscious yet has this beat and flair that is captivating.

Type Uno has this flair and cadence that just make you want more! His latest project, FOR the LOVE, a true love story, is everywhere now, be sure to tap in with Type Uno on Social Media @Type_uno on all social media and Type Uno on all streaming platforms.
