The 562 Gets An Avengers Style Collaboration With Z-God & Drip Gold's New Single With AzBenzz & Big $wift
Southern California is huge, and it’s much more than just Hollywood and Los Angeles. In fact, many native Californians don’t even live in these areas anymore, as they’ve become gentrified and a lot more pricey. Instead, they’re moving to places like Riverside, Norwalk, West Covina and more. Another spot is Paramount, where many of your favorite L.A. songs were recorded this year, in the Z-Room. Ran by Z-God, he steps away from the executive position to debut his first single, “Complicated,” a co-production with Drip Gold, that features buzzing Southeastern California artists, Big $wift and AzBenzz.
As previously mentioned, Z is one of the most respected engineers over there at the moment, as he mixed for many of today’s hottest L.A. rappers. With this being his first single as a producer, I was intrigued to see how he translated his knowledge for sound into creating it. Quickly, I was met with satisfaction, as the co-production from him and Gold was as pristine as could be. With Benzz playing lead vocalist for most of the record, he displays his infectious croons right before $wift comes in towards the end and cleans it up with an engaging verse to top it off perfectly.
In all, we hope to see more from Z & Drip Gold, as this single is one of our favorites at the moment. Check it out below and get familiar with the 562.
