Skepta’s new EP is “All In”

Skepta has returned. On Saturday (July 29), the North London legend releases his newest EP, All In, in which five tracks are featured alongside Teezee, Kid Cudi, and J Balvin — all of whom contributed songs such as “Nirvana.” A JAE5 production, Nirvana features the artists delivering adult-only material to their respective love interests:

As part of the release of the new project, “Nirvana” also gets an accompanying music video from KLVDR, which was released just in time to coincide with its release. In the video, Skepta plays the role of a butler in a magestic mansion catering to a beautiful woman who resides there – eventually, it emerges that the two are having an affair. In the video, Skepta is trapped in a cellar with J Balvin after being tied up. Towards the end of the movie, we see the woman bring in a second victim to have a similar experience. Quick eyes might notice that it is a British emcee named Lay-Z.

Skepta’s fifth LP Ignorance Is Bliss, which was released at the beginning of this year, remains his latest solo effort. The project saw 13 cuts with contributions from Nafe Smallz, J Hus, Wizkid, as well as other Boy Better Know members Jammer, Frisco, Jme, and Shorty. Skepta’s latest release, Ignorance is Bliss, was not as successful as Konnichiwa in 2016, but it achieved the number one and two spot on UK’s R&B Albums and Albums charts and was certified Silver. His most recent collaboration was last year’s joint release Insomnia, with Chip and Young Adz.
