Shizzo Gets Sturdy With “Blickity” Single
On Tha Rize Mag is highlight Philadelphia-bred rhymer, Shizzo! While Philly is widely known to birth some of hip-most hop’s most gifted emcees, it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. With that said, Shizzo, is here to trailblaze through 2023! He is without a doubt one of the city’s most promising artists. He is never afraid to explore a more vulnerable side of his music in a genre with numerous sub-genres. As a result, he can use his imagination to create music that is more authentic and relevant to listeners.
Shizzo shines bright with his debut release, “Blickity,” and is ready to rain releases all year! In fact, the trendy track, presented by Divine Chosen Ent., is completely unique and contemporary in comparison to anything Shizzo has ever recorded. But don’t get it twisted: that was the intention. Shizzo says he was inspired to come up with this catchy tune after realizing his music wasn’t reaching the younger audiences. At the very least, not as well as he had hoped. As a result, he hopes that this song will have an impact on people of all ages.
Shizzo Gets Sturdy
Shizzo wanted to do something different for his fans with this critically acclaimed record. Normally, you’d hear him rap over traditional hip-hop production, but this is STURDY. Shizzo sees the “Sturdy” movement as significant. It gives people the freedom to express themselves freely through dance, which was previously frowned upon in his hometown. “Blickity” is unquestionably a banger that people will enjoy dancing to and vibing to in an era where TikTok dance challenges reign supreme. Shizzo’s vocals on the hook and the lyrics are perfectly complementary, and the Ahkashi-snap production pays homage to the late PNB Rock.
