R&B Singer Yelly Unveils New Single “Undercover”

Today, singer-songwriter Yelly delivers her latest single “Undercover.” It’s accompanied by the official music video directed by Bella courtesy of SoundOff and finds her discovering her self-worth amid finding out the malintentions of her former lover.

The new single arrives with the news of a forthcoming project titled Between Us—set for release on January 29 and available for pre-order now. The 9-track project promises to not only showcase the lyrical prowess of this young songstress but a portrait of her life over the years.

Yelly says, “With ‘Undercover,’ it was inspired by a guy that I really liked but he was interested in so many other women. He always acted like I’m the one he really wanted and then I would find out he’s dealing with other people. He acts one way with me but undercover he’s really the total opposite.”

The 19-year-old Sacramento, California-based artist adds, “I’m happy we got to shoot something that was centered around a girl and her friends because every woman can relate to thinking a guy is for you. But after talking to your homegirls, you realize he’s really for everybody.”
