Manino Toussaint’s latest single, “Priority,” is everywhere now.
Marnino Toussaint is an incredible artist out of the east coast, delivering unbelievable ballads and a light, airy sound that is positively mesmerizing. He just released another hit single called, “Priority,” streaming everywhere now, showcasing his musical ability. Marnino is from a musical background, saying his family was always playing music in the house, which helped him learn how music can change your mood. Whenever he heard Bob Marley in the home, he knew it was a good day, which is why he makes music.
He wants to make music for his audience to feel something, to explore it. Marnino Toussaint makes music that is sentimental, authentic, and ethereal, making his audience listening purge with him, a cathartic release of emotion.
“I just want fans to ‘feel’ when they listen to music. I want them to feel easy and comfortable experiencing those emotions, whether it’s love, anger, or happiness. I want the music too to invite them in and for them to enter because that is the kind of music I make.”
Toussaint built his sound on Hip Hop, R&B, and poetry, making for an unreal display of emotion and admiration, showcasing his work as a musician and a lyricist. His most recent release, “Priority,” is a song about honoring black women, women who have cared for their men for men forever but have not been made the same “Priority.”
The song features Purple Flux, Marnino’s band, which gives the song heart as it breathes with live instruments. “Priority” is ethereal and beautiful as it melts away everything, a positively transcendental moment. The track is a follow-up to Marnino Toussaint’s last single, “Who Yo’ Stylist,” which has the same ethereal and melodic attributes as all of Marnino’s music.
Marnino is gearing up for the release of his long-awaited project, What Had Happened Was-EP. The EP will be released during the summer, sometime in August. If the project is anything like Marnino’s singles, the project should be an instant classic.
