East Compton’s, Dean Caine of BOFW drops off an exclusive visual release through OnThaRizeMag!

Pick A Side is an unfortunately short song, but this video deserves compliments to the cinematographer, Cris Navarro; REALVSN. With creative direction from both Dean and Cris, we receive a beautifully composed conversation or soliloquy, if you will. Although this is the first time they work together, a little birdie tells me this isn’t the last collab we’ve seen from these two talented Compton-bred creatives.

Shot in studio; Cris used a plain white backdrop to create a shadow figure. Editing both shots in one blew my mind. The record personified the every day struggle of growing up in the hood and trying to make it out. This is what good people in bad situations feels like and we are rooting for this mans victory! i have personally spent time in the studio with Dean Caine and I can say his creativity is bold, raw and straight to the point. This entire EP was self-written and self-produced. I really can’t wait for what we can expect from him in 2020!

No Eat No Sleep dropped early this year, but Dean has been consistently dropping content since then. Pick A Side is only the second visual off the project, but he and fellow pack members, Melo Meezy and 6lpha just launched official merch for their collective brand; W.O.L.F.
