“Patience” video features Wesley Joseph and Johanna Smith

ULTRAMARINE, the latest project from Wesley Joseph, was released just last week. In all, Jorja Smith lent her voice to just one track on the eight-track body of work. A video for the Jorja-assisted track, “Patience”, was also released with the release. The duo goes on a ride together as Wesley’s first verse sets the tone:

Last month, Jorja released a new EP called Be Right Back. There are eight songs on this project, and Shaybo contributes one. The New Orleans-based songstress released her debut LP Lost & Found three years ago. The 12-track EP garnered significant critical acclaim and launched Jorja Smith to the top of today’s soul and R&B scene. Smith also earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2019 for the album, in addition to landing on charts around the globe. As well as Lost & Found, Smith contributed to the songs of Maverick Sabra, Enny, and Brent Faiyaz’s Sonder, and released loose tunes like “Be Honest” with Burna Boy and “Come Over” with Popcaan.
