Orange County Rapper, Pretty Pape$ Unveils His Savory New Video

Visual effects are incredibly pleasing, that’s well known. So, for me, I’m always left befuddled at the fact that so many rappers ditch the cinematic video style, for guns and drugs in a trap full of dudes—it just never clicked. But for those that crafted enjoyable, fun and at times, even borderline weird music videos have always caught my attention. One of those artists is Orange County native, Pretty Pape$, who turns in his new video for, “Juice”.

Directed by Oh That’s Filthy, “Juice” is a creatively engaging video with some really focused shots. Some of my favorite scenes from the video are when you see Pape$ hanging from the window of a slowly driving car, extracting juice from some oranges like a rapping version of that super villain, The Juicer, from That’s So Raven back in the day.

As for the record, Pape$ absolutely floats over the thumping production from Mutt, crafting a bouncy record that sounds ingeniously created to slide seamlessly right next to the other big party records coming from So Cal right now. With an energy and vision to keep up in the race, don’t be surprised to see Pape$ blow sooner, rather than later.
