North Carolina Rapper Moonlander Recruits Skizzy Mars For Their Engaging New Single, “Sarcastic”
Over the last few years, North Carolina rapper Moonlander has been gradually capturing the attention of the masses. Through singles with lush melodies, intoxicating choruses, and bright production, the NC native has parlayed his relative success into various festival slots and a supporting spot on a tour with Bryce Vine and Yung Lean. Looking to further establish himself as an artist to reckon with, he stops by with his Skizzy Mars-assisted single, “Sarcastic.”
The single is smooth and laced with warm synths, a tender bass-line, and great vocal delivery. the meaning behind the song is also very interesting. The song dives into the nuances of trying to care too much when your significant other isn’t giving you the same energy. It is relatable to anyone that has been in a spot where you have someone who isn’t completely real. Even though MoonLander stole the show on this, Skizzy made sure to drop his signature flows that will be deeply appreciated for anyone that has followed his music since his “Pace,” days. Overall, the song is one of our favorites from Moon and we are excited to hear the rest of the project.
