Mama Yaya is a Chicago based, singer/ songwriter of Palestinian and Jewish descent, who is a part of Jake Bass’ Boca J Music imprint. For this new single she joins forces with Bass, Detroit-based composer and producer, and founder of Boca J Music- as well as The Light Works, the brainchild of producers Ludlow and Freddy Todd, who fuse Chicago house, Detroit techno, drum and bass, and hip-hop/ R&B to create a distinctive and infectious sound in electronic music.
