Los Angeles Trio Them Fantasies Debut Their Engaging New Ep, ‘How Modest”

Over the last few years, rising trio Them Fantasies have been cleverly crafting an engaging fanbase. Comprised of Dominic Cannarella, Eric McCoy and Max Meizlish, Them Fantasies is a Los Angeles based Alt-Funk trio that has spent the last few years utilizing social media to endear themselves with fans through their relatable music. Looking to take things a step further, they check into our pages for the first time with their intriguing new EP, How Modest.

Comprised of 5-tracks, the EP is a angelic journey throughout the minds of the three band members. With Max on the drums, Eric on the guitar and Dominic taking leading vocal duty, the trio showcases a great sense of chemistry during the 18-minute run time. Buoyed by the infectious melodic runs from Eric and the steady hand of Max, Dominic is allowed to explore his vast vocal range, resulting in standout tracks like, “Afterglow,” and, “Growing Pains.” The latter also doubles as a great example of the group’s songwriting, which is easily relatable to the listener, resulting in more engaging listens.
