LJ Hunter’s new album “4226!” is full of bangers
LJ Hunter is a rising artist out of Leimert Park. Towards the ending of 2018 he decided to drop off his second project of the year “4226!.” He blends pop and hip hop vibes together, sort of reminding me of Lil Uzi Vert. Much like Uzi, the bass heavy thumpers pull you in and compel you to turn up your speakers to the highest volume possible.
“Rollie” is one of the previous released tracks on the project and probably one of my favorites. The blissful instrumental partners well with LJ’s melodic range. The assorted selection of soundscapes on the project gives for a refreshing listen from start to finish. He’s in his own lane and if he continues to release quality music at this level, he’s sure to make it big.
