Raved rhymer Lil Yase was born and raised in Sunnydale, a rougher industrial neighborhood out of San Francisco that included the city’s largest housing project. Despite the hardships he faced growing up, Lil Yase had a passion for music. To no surprise, he began to pursue it at a young age. In doing so, he started making videos of his songs on a borrowed iPad when he was 15. From there, his music career began to take off.

By the time of his untimely death in November of 2020, Lil Yase had already made a significant impact on the rap scene. He was known for his unique style and energetic performances. Remaining a force to be reckoned with, he had a growing fan base who appreciated his contributions to the genre. Though his passing was tragic, his estate is taking steps to ensure that his legacy lives on. Even if it’s through the release of unreleased material.

In 2022, Lil Yase’s estate formed a strategic partnership with M1 Promotions to release the unreleased material and allow fans to experience the depth and span of Lil Yase’s artistry. This partnership aimed to ensure that his impact on the rap scene would continue. Also in hopes that his unreleased work would reach a wider audience.

In fact, his latest project proves just that. Made up of never-before-heard songs, Forever 600 showcases Lil Yase’s versatility and artistic evolution. The posthumous release serves as a poignant reminder of the talent that was tragically cut short but continued to resonate with fans. The recently released project arrived on November 28th featuring 9 trendy tracks with guest appearances by Young Kez, Say So, Hatii Babii, Tazizmainey, Robb Mack, and Nemz. In addition to being packed with production by a slew of prominent producers including: Sam Scarfo, Saul, Jay Ballin, Cyprus, SBSchmack and SmackBeatz. From start to finish, the highly awaited raved release can move the musical masses.
