Las Vegas Rapper, Roi Lorange Drops Off His Hazy New EP
Weed is amazing, let’s just keep it a buck. But the one thing that might be better than a freshly rolled fronto, might be smoking that while playing some dope music, especially if it’s new. For me, this was the exact way in which I first took in Las Vegas native, Roi Lorange and his new EP, Thin Ice—and to tell you the truth, I’m not sure I would’ve wanted it any other way.
At 6-songs, Thin Ice is a fairly short project, even for EP standards. Despite this, the project never feels rushed, and Roi’s overall feelings and messages he was attempting to convey can be felt throughout. Utilizing his infectious tone to get away with some clever, yet quirky bars — we’ve seen this transition before, and we loved it — you can tell that Roi’s best qualities as an artist will always be his charm, relatability to the listener and his willingness to explore the boundaries.
Although this may not be the most polished or finished version of Roi, you can easily see the star potential there, as long as he recognizes his lane and owns it. Take a listen to Thin Ice below and let’s us know what you think in the comments.
