Hailing from Vegas, rising rapper Playsome Jayy is one of those aforementioned locals, as his festive escapades are of Sin City lore. Looking to showcase more of that spirit, he checks into our pages with his fun new video for, “2Excited.”
Produced by fellow notable Vegas artist, Asaiah Ziv, “2Excited,” is an engaging, straight forward single that finds Jayy doing what he does best. Showcasing elastic flows that allow him to jump in and out of different pockets, he takes advantage of the tailor made production by staying in his bag and rhyming about familiar topics in a more engaging way than others might opt to. Directed by Chakarra, the video does a brilliant job of bringing these notions to life, furthering his lore. Utilizing every single second of camera time, he exudes charisma the whole way as they juxtapose shots of him hanging out the sun roof on the Vegas Strip, with shots of him hosting a fun pool party in a luxurious looking backyard, solidifying most of his claims throughout the boastful record.
