If Kee Riche$ isn’t one of your favorite artists or you don’t have any of his music on your playlist, you’re just sleeping on him. As if his recent project Raised Off Rosecrans wasn’t enough to make you want to tune in, he keeps his foot on the gas with a new EP, “In Love With A Trapper.”
He has developed a chemistry with producer XL and together they just create hits. XL is on the come up as well, making a name for himself, if I had to choose my top 5 producers out of LA he would make the list. Over the past two weeks Kee has shared snippets of the singles and decided to turn it into an EP. Based on the reaction he was getting from people it was only right.
This is not the sound were use to hearing from the Compton artist but he’s heading in the right direction. Four songs just aren’t enough and you’ll feel the same way once you take a listen. “In Love With A Trapper” is the opening track and probably my favorite, although I really enjoy “Would You” also. His soft melodic flow will have you smashing the repeat button on every track, this is love making music.
