Johnny Lugautti has locked in with Yung Bleu for his latest hybrid Rap anthem.
For their “Secrets,” collab, which Johnny classifies as a road trip playlist mainstay, the pair of musicians attempt to pyr the secrets of this generation’s women directly from their clutched and manicured hands.
Considering the track was initially brought to life during one of Yung Bleu’s exclusive kickbacks at his Alabama estate, it’s only right the visual for “Secrets,” captures Johnny Lugautti’s experience at yet another one of Bleu’s pool parties.
Even though Johnny knew he wanted Bleu on the track from the beginning of the creative process, he explained how the record essentially manifested due to a chance encounter with the vocalist and the CEO of his record label.
“At the time we had the same management, shoutout Jay Cooper, my [3G Entertainment] CEO, met with Yung Bleu at one of his pool parties and then maybe a week later I did the hook and my verse a week after that I went to Bleu’s house in atl and he recorded his verse in his in-home studio,” Johnny Lugautti said.
The video for “Secrets,” closely follows the release of Johnny Lugautti’s single “Go,” featuring Doodie Lo and his S.A.D. Again EP which he spoke briefly about also.
“It’s funny because people would expect it to be a sad tape but it’s actually (S)ongs (A)bout (D)rugs which is really self explanatory ima rockstar so I get wasted like the rockstars,” Johnny said.
