Jacob ZL Is On Tha Rize With His New Release “Killing Me Lately”
Stepping out of Flatbush, Brooklyn is rhymer Jacob ZL whose music speaks volumes as he provides smooth vocals paired with systematic bars. The hot new single titled, “Killing Me Lately” talks about his toxic ways in relationships, his first hit made in 2015, his past traumas, and so much more relatable lyrics.
The Return Of Jacob ZL
Jacob ZL uses an innovative style that pays homage to old school rap while also incorporating refreshing, modern nuances in his music. His music style comes as a blend of crisp, Brooklyn-inspired flows and melodic singing. In 2014, ZL first caught the ears of the city with his releases “Wings” and “Pills”. Both records rapidly became underground New York City anthems.
Ever since those records and inconsistently releasing songs, Jacob ZL has now been entrenched in his musical work. He’s since been staying consistent and continues to climb to the top. He was recently featured with John Oliver on Last Week Tonight, released by publications such as Lyrical Lemonade and Elevator. Furthermore, he performed at famous venues such as Webster Hall.
Killing Me Lately
With a newfound passion and commitment to music, ZL continues to keep up the momentum with his music starting with his single, “Killing Me Lately”. In doing so, he ended 2020 with a bang when he released the smash hit. It was a great way for Jacob to transition into the new year.
The brand new single comes with a sophisticated music video. The Kuba– directed visual shows the mature and luxurious lifestyle of Jacob ZL. Keeping the significance of the record, the visual does justice. The visual was edited by Prince Dudley & Nick Von Gremp. “Killing Me Lately” can be streamed on all platforms.
