Honesty on wax is non-negotiable. I mean, okay, that’s not necessarily always true, but it is about the music that I listen too, (okay, that’s not true, either. I love Future, despite his faux drug use). Either way, hearing people be raw, open and emotional on record is something that never gets old, and is always a positive. Carrying this notion like a backpack through the wild, Indiana crooner, Eddy Blake releases his reflective new single, “Ghost Town.”

Relying on minimal production and a slew of impressive vocals by Blake, “Ghost Town,” is a raw record that sees Blake pondering over such topics as alcoholism, loneliness, love and a whole lot more. During this, he emphatically switches from capable crooner, to a bonafide vocalist, as he displays a surprisingly lengthy vocal range. With this song serving as the newest building block in his quest towards validation, I would say he’s closer to the masses than not.
