Ike Rhein releases new single “Just Like You”
Music artist Ike Rhein released a music video for his track “Not for Me” in July. Since then, the music video has surpassed 100,000 views. Ike Rhein returns with a hit song to start off September, building on the popularity of “Not for Me.”
The acoustic guitar sound of “Just Like You,” created by ZBeatz, is mixed with Ike Rhein’s bouncy, emotional vocals. The song goes into the intricacies of human relationships. “‘Just Like You’ is about how people sometimes focus on nitpicking the tiny things that irritate their significant other, yet their significant other could do the same to them.” “The second stanza was written from more of an audience viewpoint, talking about how you’re on your own,” Ike Rhein adds. “Just Like You” serves as a reminder that it’s preferable to elevate the other partner and focus on the positives in a relationship rather than focusing on the little difficulties that generate unnecessary tension.
Although “Just Like You” has a melancholy undertone, the song has a pleasant melody.
