HoodCelebrityy Is On Tha Rize With Fire New Freestyle “Liar/ Last Laugh”
Next up on On Tha Rize Magazine is none other than Jamaican-born, Bronx-bred superstar, HoodCelebrityy! Returning with her most recent release, “Liar / Last Laugh”, HoodCelebrityy is on fire! In doing so, she dropped off a new single which serves as a freestyle and is heating up these summer streets!
For the trendy track, we hear the “Walking Trophy” hop up on Burna Boy’s “Last Last” with her unique spin. HoodCelebrityy’s rendition raps about getting over someone and moving on. She kicks off the record by calling the person who caused her misery a liar. For example, a notable line is when she says, “you a cheat first now you cry pon (on) me“.
Whereas in Burna Boy’s song, he starts the track off by singing, “E don cast, last last, na everybody go chop breakfast”. In a recent interview, Burna explained the meaning and said its Nigerian slang for having a heartbreak. While on HoodCelebrityy’s freestyle, she showed off her Jamaican slang when she rapped, “me get the last laugh; no yuh can’t yam (eat) breakfast”.
The female liberated remix is a breath of fresh air with its Afro Beats and Caribbean combination. Hood’s rendition of “Last Last” will certainly dominate DJ sets at the most popular parties and gatherings. Furthermore, her lyricism can be applicable to many women who feel strong after quitting a terrible relationship!
