Get Familiar With Las Vegas Artist BUUBACKWARDS & His New Project, ‘Uncut Demo 4: Side B’

Over the last few years, Las Vegas has been building a respectable list of artists that have been making noise, highlighted by names like Baby Keem. Another notable name on that list is BUUBACKWARDS, an artist who earned his reputation through thumping production at a young age. Now an established lyricist himself, the Sin City rep has been consistently upping his presence through his Uncut Demo series. Looking to take things a step further, he checks in with the fourth installment of this series, Uncut Demo 4: Side B.

Completely produced, written and mixed by BUUBACKWARDS himself, it would be understandable if at times this project felt a little stagnant, but no. Instead, UUB does a brilliant job of initiating a sense of pacing early on in the project. Throughout the record, he establishes unique tones at different times, highlighted by the vibe that’s caught between, “WUZGUUD,” and “WEEKEND.” On the former, he catches probably the best flow of the whole project as he pops his shit to beautiful women he only covets for the moment, while on the latter, he and Asaiah Ziv pay tribute to Las Vegas with an engaging weekend anthem.
