Earlier this year, it was reported that rising Atlanta rapper BOREGARD. had been reported missing. At first, things were confusing, though quickly everything was cleared up as the super villain–and noted BOREGARD. fanatic–NOREGARD. Serving as a Bizzaro-like tether to BO, NOREGARD. decided he wanted to lock BO away in an attempt to impersonate his daily life and release music once a month. Looking to continue his reign, he checks in with the engaging new EP, High In School.

Clocking in at 8-tracks, High In School is an engaging project that finds BOREGARD. leaning more into the wavy side of things. Throughout the project, BO. slices through a handful of thumping, high-energy beats as he gets out his comfort zone to deliver one of his most accessible projects yet. Utilizing video game and Anime inspired production to his advantage, he showcases amazing stamina as he hardly takes a break throughout the project, opting to ditch splashy guest verses for a more calculated singular perspective. Standouts from the project include, the spacey trunk rattler in, “TonkaTruck,” and, “Ask Me!,” an infectious record that finds BOREGARD. and featured artist Wiley From Atlanta staking their claim as two of Atlanta’s exciting young prospects.
