The L.A. based DJ’s latest single is bringing all of the West Coast vibes needed to have a good time!
DJ Primetime‘s newest song “How We Do It” featuring guest verses from Chris O’Bannon and BlueBucksClan is setting the tone for how to live your best life and enjoy the summer. The artists all help to paint a picture of what exactly a fun-filled night includes from linking up with their crew, to partying with fine women with plenty of liquor and good music. Stating how his sound includes the use of live music and samples, listeners can hear the heavy bass guitar and piano laced into the upbeat track. It also samples the 1995 hit of the same name by Montell Jordan, while still putting a modern twist on the beat, making it a summer party anthem in 2021.
Primetime is a LA born-and-raised DJ and producer who has been involved with music his entire life after learning to play the drums at just two-years old. “I grew up on music. My dad was a DJ and my mom used to play jazz music all day,” he stated during a recent interview so it could be said his musical inclination was his birthright. Originally working as a computer technician, after his song “Tear It Up” ft. Vinny West and Famous Uno went viral in 2016, he knew he had something special and began to seriously pursue music as a career. In the present day he is the official DJ, engineer and producer for other LA-based artist Kalan.FrFr as well as gearing up to release his debut full length project My Life Is A Movie, set to come out later this summer.
