DJ Danny Dee Showcases His Turntable Skills
As a young age, DJ Danny Dee developed a love for music with a passion for DJing alongside his father. His father, a Calypso DJ, has had the greatest influence on him. Early on, one of his closest friends gave him the nickname “The Harlem Showstopper” and the rest is history.
Danny Dee recalls a day when he was forced to spin records at a neighborhood function. He claims, “I was mixing and scratching like I’d never done before, and the crowd went crazy.”
That was a staple moment in his memory, one he would never forget. With his experience of honing his skills with older equipment, the Harlem disc jockey has an advantage over most of the newer DJs. One of DJ Danny’s biggest accomplishments comes from his involvement in co-producing the 2006 hit single, “Chicken Noodle Soup.” Another notable achievement on his resume is DJing for Alicia Keys.
Finally, Dee became a member of the legendary Union Dj’s. Recently, the emerging DJ uploaded a DMX tribute mix to his YouTube Channel and has garnered great feedback! .
