DAZE SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2022 WAS A SUCCESS!!

Bringing it back to the beginning…

In 2016, Scott Morris changed the game when he launched the first ever Daze Summit Festival in New York City. In fact, many may be familiar with Scott as the CEO and Founder of Mor.Bookings Agency, a talent agency and an event planning company established in 2015 after the success of his “Dean List Tour.”

For example, in the first year, over 250 artists auditioned for a spot to perform on stage during the 40-city college tour. Following the amazing feedback – the annual tour eventually went international! As a result, they’ve been pushing the culture forward and shutting down stages with emerging artists ever since. The Daze Summit Festival serves as New York’s version of SXSW as the multi-day event brings that NY vibe.

The Festival Stage Line Up

This year, the event kicked off on Monday, April 11th, 2022 before wrapping wit a bang on Thursday, April 21st, 2022. Backed by the sponsorships of Mor.Bookings, Underground Advocatez, and New Heat Studios, this year’s summit included many events for all creatives to connect. The NY-based festival was made up of showcases, panels, and mixers with some of today’s industry leading influencers and trailblazers.

Filled with panels and events featured by some of the industry’s most valuable players, festival goers got to experience and pick the brains of A&Rs and Music Executives to DJs and Producers, Publicists, Journalists and Radio Hosts, entrepreneurs and everything music and entertainment in between! Each day, panelists spoke on different topics with focuses on different angles. These discussions provided a wealth of useful information that artists and viewers found extremely useful. Most importantly, they talked what it takes to advance to the next level! Additionally, many spoke about the struggle of turning nothing into something authentically. In addition to being innovative and pushing the culture in positive ways. After each showcase, performers had the opportunity to connect with radio stations and record labels in hopes of advancing their music careers.

The Daze Summit Experience

This experience allowed artists and aspiring creatives to expand their network beyond their normal reach and gain new supporters organically. This year’s festival hands down goes down in the books as one of the most influential DS Festivals yet.
