Compton’s Kee Riche$ returns with new project, “Raised Off Rosecrans”

It’s only a handful of artists that I get excited about when it comes down to the music, and who I genuinely enjoy writing about. Compton native Kee Riche$ is a special artist. I remember when I first started listening to him and I instantly said to myself, he’s up next.

“Raised Off Rosecrans” is the next classic tape that Kee has added to his music catalog. It’s deeper then the music, this is where it all began for Kee and everything he’s seen and experienced. Now we get to hear all the hard work he’s put in to this project.

Clocking in at 13 tracks, Kee takes us on a ride on a more personal level whether it’s rapping on a funky beat or spilling his feelings out on tracks like “Miss My Dawgs” and “Faith” featuring Rucci. He’s definitely more motivated and inspired since the release of his last projects, Get Rich and Get Rich 2. Producer Zay Coronado laces Kee with a uptempo beat on the intro “14042” and from the start he doesn’t hesitate to kill the beat.

“Westside Lady” is the most notable track off the project, already at over 80k plays. It doesn’t matter what mood your in its a little bit of everything, from heavy hitta bangers like “Why Not” featuring BossMann, Lil Duece, & BassSquad Black, “Side Bitch” featuring Lil Duece or something for the ladies like “Know Me” featuring VonDon or “Run It Back.”
