“Cliquot Shower” receives new visuals from Caleborate
Bay Area’s own Caleborate dropped his Light Hit My Skin project in March. This morning (July 1), he returns with the official video for one of the stand-out singles from the project, “Cliquot Shower.” This also serves as the album’s introduction. Caleborate opens the video with some beautiful imagery of dancing ballerinas in a long tunnel just before he begins his intro:
In addition to Duckwrth, Samaria, redveil, Kota The Friend, Deante Hitchcock, Cantrell, Cash Campain, and Tone Sinatra, Light Hit My Skin features 15 tracks in total. As the project’s opener “Clicquot Shower” and closing single “The Madness” progresses, listeners are invited to take a seat. He has released singles such as “Dream Car,” “Untitled (Hit Record),” and “Pull Up.” His newest project is 2019 Hear Me Out, and he recently released “Pull Up.” In addition, he made a stop at COLORS Studios in Germany to perform his hit “Clicquot Shower.”
Recently, Caleborate took the time to discuss the multiple meanings associated with his album title. He says that the way light hits him varies from the size of the light he feels on stage, to the light that cascades over our car, to the light from the flashlight on his phone. Or my own light, if you prefer a metaphorical interpretation. My light shines from within and enlightens others.”
