Santa Barbara’s Chris Jvmes just dropped the visual to his track “Boricua”, an ode to his girl featuring a melodic hook over a smooth beat. It’s hard not to catch a vibe listening to this track, not to mention that the video adds a real cinematic presence to the music. Chris’ flow is on point and it’s almost as if he’s telling a story, so you get hooked quick on the rhymes that he delivers with a natural cadence. He’s got the laid-back sound that reminds you of Tyga, but make no mistake, the originality is all there and it’s fresh. Chris Jvmes is somebody we gotta keep up with.
