Chevron Blue Drops Hot New EP ‘Forever Rolling’

Up-and-coming artist Chevron Blue has just blessed listeners with his new EP called Forever Rolling. The tape is exclusively produced by the hot new producer of the same name and this duo’s joint effort on the 4-track release proves that they are only just heating up but are here to stay.

Over the tape’s entirety Blue flexes his talent for imagery such as on intro “No Lies” and stresses his dislike and no tolerance-policy for snitches on standout tracks such as “Foe.” For listeners who may be hearing Chevron Blue for the first time this will be a great project to become familiar with him as he is certainly an artist-to-watch.

After having to transfer schools due to being shot and then amid the global shutdown caused by the pandemic, Chevron Blue pivoted from his dreams of being a football star to picking up a mic and pursuing music as a way to cope. Now two years later the artist’s progression is evident with each of his releases, so much so that he even hears his music out now in clubs, a feeling he describes as being “surreal.”

Since his debut he has dropped a plethora of singles and two mixtapes, 7 Shots and Elephant in the Room, both of which were released earlier this year. No matter the project Chevron Blue’s versatility is something to be heavily noted and will keep listeners from ever getting bored with his music. “I like the challenge of making good music that doesn’t sound like anyone else’s,” he said in a recent interview. “I take pride in not biting styles. I get inspired by crazy beats or hearing some crazy lyrics.”

With Forever Rolling finally out, Blue has now set his sights on updating his mixtape Elephant in the Room and will be releasing a deluxe version later this year.
