Get Familiar With Canadian Vocalist St.Arnaud & His Engaging New Single, “Loving”
In an era where it feels like majority of popular music feels like they’re talking at you, it can feel nice the music feels a bit therapeutic instead, instead talking with you. Hailing from Edmonton, Canada, rising songwriter St.Arnaud has been bubbling the last few years by providing just that, feel-good indie anthems that can turn your day right-side up. Looking to continue a comeback that started with his well-received single, “Catching Flies,” he continues the streak with his engaging new single, “Loving.”
Set to the tone of a steady beat of tranquil drum breaks and infectious guitar riffs, “Loving,” establishes itself on the back on it’s songwriting. Evoking feelings of love, unity and overall positivity, he also gets a bit deeper, utilizing lyrics like, “Look at him, he knows he’s got some problems/If he lets her in, she hopes her love will solve him.” While the line is sure to stir up a few feelings inside of anyone, he showcases his duality by tying it back in with an incredibly engaging chorus that finds him bringing everybody together in unison. Blending a wonderful pen with an impressive vocal range, not to mention his ability on the guitar, “Loving,” showcases that St.Arnaud is here to stay.
