C5 Releases “Overdue” Album

North Oakland native C5 dropped his Be Patient project back in March, he picks up where he left off with a new album “Overdue.” Right off the bat, the opening track “Overjoyed” featuring Rexx Life Raj is a declaration of the hard work C5 has put in. He knows his time is here and he’s joyful knowing he started from the bottom and continues to grow and deliver quality music.

He follows that up with “Came a Long Way” in which he describes the trials and tribulations that he’s faced with when it comes to getting to the top. Standouts from the project include, “Everyday” featuring Yhung T.O, “Start Somethin” featuring NailahAyann, and “Used To” featuring Dcmbr.

This is C5’s best body of work yet and i promise you won’t skip not one track. It’s easy to be a one hit wonder nowadays but not C5, he has mastered his sound to perfection and his music should easily be trending. We know he’s not going to stop and we look forward to hearing more classic music.
