The Rise Of Bounce Beat Black
The DMV native had an early start to his music journey after becoming apart of the local GoGo scene as the lead rapper for Cash Money Band and the keyboardist of TCB. The band and Bounce Beat Black teamed up and with their success together they spread Bounce Beat GoGo music outside of the DMV area to music hubs all over the nation including: North Carolina, Los Angeles, California and Miami, Florida.
During his time with TCB, Black had the opportunity to perform alongside mainstream rappers such as, Lil Durk and Wale. His love and passion for Bounce Beat GoGo music runs deep. In fact, so deep that it influenced him to change his stage name from just “Black” to the moniker he goes by now. Once he decided to change his stage name, he began releasing solo projects.
Discography
In November of 2016, he released his debut EP, A Long Way From The GoGo after all of the positive feedback and notoriety he received with the release of his A Different Side mixtape. His first mixtape dropped in July 2017. It featured one of his most highlighted tracks, “More Money Than You” featuring TopDolla Sweizy and fellow DMV artist Rico Nasty, who is in fact killing the music game right now for female emcees.
The Bounce Beat King is innovative and determined to bring the DMV area to the top of the charts. He plans to launch a new sound to mainstream music by mixing Hip-Hop, R&B, and GoGo together. If you’re a fan of Bounce Beat Black and enjoy GoGo music, then this next news is for you! The DMV artist has a collection of new music on the way. He’s curating a compilation album with guest features from a slew of DMV artists. Followed by a GoGo album with beats made up by a live band and a solo EP. Maryland’s triple threat will be dropping the forthcoming projects throughout the remainder of 2019, but for now, make sure to Love Problems 2 on all streaming services.
