Blxst Is Los Angeles’ Next Rising Star
Blxst may be from Los Angeles but, soon the whole world will know who he is. This past Friday, the West Coast pioneer released his debut project, No Love Lost under Red Bull Records and it’s a classic. Blxst is a singer, songwriter, rapper, and produces his own music alongside producing for other artists including his most notable produced track, Right Wit It by Kalan FrFr, Chris O’Bannon and G Perico. He has since dropped hit records like “Hurt” “Falling” “My Emotions” and so many more. He joined forces with Bino Rideaux for their collab EP, Sixtape which exceeded millions of streams and views.
His catalog is beyond stacked, and what he’s doing as an independent artist is amazing. On the 8-track body of work, “Overrated” is the lead single and a fan favorite. Blxst melodies are superior on each record and many people enjoy his music because it’s relatable and catchy. His sound is not just West Coast, it’s universal. The marketing for the project is genius as well. He has a billboard up on Slauson and La Brea in Los Angeles, which is a huge deal because that is a popular location. He also had a pop up shop at Del Amo mall over the weekend.
