Benji Stone and Gander Yowe come together for a joint mixtape
2019 has been a highlight year for LA’s underground circuit. Benji Stone’s project Thinkin’ Out Loud will make our lists of one of the best projects of the year and before the year ends, you need to go take a listen.
Today, on this rainy day, Benji Stone and Gander Yowe drop off their joint mixtape, Daily Gander which features 10 tracks and features from Frost Da Great, Yelobankfrank, J.Owe, Yfl lC, FlexxBrothers, J Whitt, and Spiffie Da Slumbaby. It’s some real bangers on this project, they went in the studio, got in their groove and created a versatile body of work.
The tape opens up with the titled intro in which Benji and Gander go bar for bar. That follows up with “Blood Sweat & Tears,” one of my favorites on the project. Frost Da Great is not only featured on the song, but he also produced it. Each track carries a different theme and takes us on a journey as the duo expresses themselves in their own way.
