Ascending Artist, Psyfi Whodini Delivers His Engaging New EP

Narratives around a project can always help give some context to the listener. Providing a story to clarify your words on an album is never a bad idea, and is always a way to help develop the idea of a more personal relationship with each fan. For rising artist, Psyfi Whodini, he spoke of a story about him jumping on his bike and going from Seattle to L.A. in order to catch a flight to Japan, and it ended up being the story behind his new EP, Safe Travels.

At 4-tracks, Safe Travels is very short, but highly effective in telling the story and displaying Whodini’s vast array of skills. One of those is his ability to bend his vocals in a few different ways in order to fit what’s needed in the record. On, “Too Legit”, he keeps his tones high, helping to accentuate the aesthetic of the record, while on, “Custom” he brings his time down a bit, instead opting for a more traditional cadence to get off his bars.

In all, Safe Travels is a solid appetizer for getting familiar with Psyfi Whodini, and hopefully an indication for more new music soon. Press play on the project below and get familiar with the rising artist.
