Artist To Watch: Verg
Every week we are going to highlight an artist that should be on your radar. First up is multi-talented artist Verg. As of right now, his music catalog consists of 2 singles and his most recent EP, On The Verg. It’s a breath of fresh air when you actually hear an artist who can actually rap nowadays.
His style is laid back while also giving you bars. Verg takes pride in his lyricism and production on his tracks. The first single off his On The Verg EP , “Paper Chase” featuring Breana Marin is probably my favorite. The record gives you a little taste on his drive and the direction he is headed in. He believes in himself and his music and you should too.
The next records “Why” and “Voicemail/Reply” are more vulnerable singles filled with emotion and relatable lyrics. Verg is most definitely an artist you should keep an eye on. He’s on his own wave and we are looking forward to seeing what’s up next.
