Cleveland Artist, Adi Rei Unveils His Festive New Video For, “Twisted”

Somewhere along the lines in Hip-Hop, we forgot that music videos are supposed to be fun. They’re supposed to be a party. Now, of course, if you’re song isn’t festive, then maybe the video should reflect that, but c’mon… who wants to see sadness on screen all of the time? Coming out of Cleveland, Ohio, rising rapper Adi Rei gets this, and it’s why his new video for, “Twisted,” is without a doubt one of my favorites from April.

Produced by Rei himself, he also co-directed the video, showcasing a hands on approach that not many artists are successfully pulling off these days. Utilizing colorful shots of nice cars, beautiful women and a hyped up Adi Rei, the video does a brilliant job of captivating the scenery around it’s characters, soundtracked to an eclectic backdrop of clever one-liners and a rambunctious flow from Rei.
