I will start this article by saying, my review for Holland’s music as a whole is very, very long overdue. I met with him at a Slap Media curated clothing drive about two months ago and I have been infatuated with his character ever since.
This single is titled Testimony and that’s exactly what it is. A testimony to the West Coast. Holland applies a plethora of voice alterations into every hook, verse and bridge. His higher pitched persona gives me wild Suga Free vibes. He definitely lets his cultural influences show on every release, from start to finish.
Being from Compton, Holland often films in the city and surrounding areas. From what I can gather from the short teaser clip we’ve seen drop in promotion of this release, I can put together the exact location in which it was captured. Can you?
He made quite a splash with his visuals for his songs titled, “It Izz What It Izz” and “Do Wit It.” One directed by Jon Psycho, and the other by Goldby7 and HeyDeon. His good friend and the producer behind the Testimony beat, Yung Hormiga, recently confirmed that this DundeeFilms directed visual is schedule to drop on Monday, March 30th, 2020. I personally am certainly looking forward to it!
