Ascending Midwest Artist, Freshie, Releases His Engaging New Project

With the end of the decade near, it’s only right that we start to look towards the future for our next crop of difference makers. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, rising rapper, Freshie, has a chance to make some waves in the next few years, and possibly after. Following an impressive year where his name and live performances have started to ring bells, he brings it all full circle with his engaging new album, Bad Behavior.

Comprised of a spectrum of action-packed production, Freshie does not take it for granted, as he showcases an impressive amount of energy on every single record. Utilizing the top of the album to give more of an aggressively charged feel, he calls on only two features, Foreign Jay and Tobbs, to help carry the load, as he slices through each beat with an eclectic ease that makes even the most calm of individuals feel like they can do it also. Slowing things down–though not the energy–around track 9, “Time Zone,” he then spends the rest of the project establishes his melodic genius and highlighting his overall talent.
