This record comes in at number 5 off of his latest album release titled, “No Wolves in The Circus.” The intro is an exclusive OG Bone feature that adds character and emotion to this conceptual piece. Melo dropped two other videos (“Note to Self” and “Today”) previous to these visuals, all directed by different videographers. This one was shot and edited by Cristian Navarro, a very talented cinematographer from Compton, CA. You can follow his business page via instagram.
The scenes were shot in various locations in LA County, like Compton and Paramount. They went with a dry field background that gave a focused rural texture. The all-black attire added definition to the crest in every movement. You can even cop a hoodie and/or other merch with the W.O.L.F. Brand logo for yourself or your family and friends! They have various designs, colors and sizes available. Tap in via winorlosefuckit.com
This song is, in essence, an apology to his grandmother from his very own father’s perspective for not stepping up earlier in life as he was tied to the streets for so long. It’s also a reminder of why he keeps coming so consistently. He’s definitely full of character and his career in music is only getting started. His collaborations include a number of gems with Dean Caine, which are by far some of my favorite tracks. Their combined energy is incredible. This sound can only be found on the East Side.
