OnThaRizeMag Presents: Up And Coming 10 (Videos Of The Week)

I know I’m not the only one who gets excited when some of our favs drop a new music video. It’s really a lot of creativity when it comes down to videos these days and we want to highlight some videos that were released over the past week or so.

Los Angeles artist MoThoro is set to drop his album titled “PrimeTime” this Friday and dropped some cinematic visuals for a song off the project, Highly Favored. The mini-movie is shot by vitavisuals and showcases a day in the life of Mothoro. We are excited about to hear his new album but in the meantime check out the visual below.

Thurz is no stranger when it comes to creating timeless music. Last week, he released the visual to one of my favorite songs of his “Addicted” produced by Ro Blvd. The visual, directed by Duke Visions, takes us on a ride on a sunny day through the city with his friends, accompanied by some colorful effects. Check out the visual below and be on the lookout for new music from the Inglewood native.

King Leaf and Mr. White Dogg are gearing up to release their collab project in the New Year and decided to give us a taste of what we should look forward to hearing. There new song “Realism” features Amazin TIU and it’s definitely a hit. They each come through and deliver bars on the track. King Leaf also produced, mixed and mastered the beat, which is rare nowadays. Get familiar with the trio below.

The MoneyComeFirst collective has been busy all year and they continue to bless the streets with new music. Westside $tew links up with Juddyremixdem for a new set of visuals, “Options.” The track is off his recent project Make Sure You Play This MCF. He also dropped off a 5-track EP “$Tewop” in October so check it out and his new visual below.

Wray is one of my favorite female emcee’s coming out of the West Coast. She always brings her bossy energy on each and every track. Her latest visual “Freak Bitch” is off her Just the Beginning project, which you need to go listen to. She doesn’t hold back her desires on this record, she gets right to the point. The colorful visual is shot by Dundee Films and features her homegirls.

Dope Slang Jr. has been quiet this year but he’s stepping back onto the scene with a brand new video “Your Man” featuring up and coming artist SVGPreme. The duo brings their high energy on the Romo-produced record as they talk about not wanting to be anyone’s man. The visual, directed by Ajai Ford, features many cameos and brings together the record. Hopefully, we will get more collabs from these two in the future.

Two of the best coming out the West, MCM Raymond and Big $wift have been in the studio cooking up the heat and they are ready to share it with their fans. The two are set to drop a collaboration EP any day now and based on their new release “Karate,” I’m really looking forward to hearing what else they have in store. They both have their own style and compliment each other well on the record. Check out the visual below.

KB Devaughn released his single “4 MUCH” featuring vocals from Shae Universe a few months back and now we have a visual to accompany the soulful record. KB releases timeless music that you can go back and listen to like your hearing it for the first time. The GoldBy7 visual is touching, it features his son as he talks about his little man being his main priority and the many obstacles life throws at us. Check out the visual below.

D.Gill, Honey.Bee, and Hitta YB is setting the scene on fire with their brand new visual “Glock In Here.” The trio doesn’t hold back on the record, they each riddle the beat with bars that’s sure to have you smashing the repeat button. They are letting you know that they are not the ones to be messed with. Check out the fullxgrind visual below.

Cartier Dame is an artist who caught my attention a couple of days ago when I heard his new track “Tesla.” His new track accompanied with a visual is a whole vibe and he showcases his unique cadences on the og.abi produced record. He has the potential to really make it big and this is only the beginning. Be on the lookout for his project that’s set to drop at the ending of this month.
