Meet Adrian Perez, one of the founders behind 8K Productions
You’ve probably read the headline and thought to yourself, who is Adrian Perez and what’s 8K Productions. Adrian and his partner Kyle Anuforo first started throwing events back in High School under the name TELLY BOYS but after they graduated, they came up with 8K because they felt the original name was corny.
Based out of the Inland Empire, 8K Productions isn’t just event coordinating, they also manage a few emerging West Coast artists who are promptly making their way to the top. DMB Gotti, KiingMostWanted, Curty Will, and MCM Raymond. As you know – or may not, the West has a whole new wave of crazy talent who are putting us on the map right now.
A few of which I’m about to speak on. Let’s take it back to June of 2018 when 8K put on their first BIG show with one of the leaders of the new wave, 03 Greedo. FREE 03 by the way. The show took place at the Fox Theater in Pomona and of course you know it was a packed house.
“Having 03 GREEDO as our first big show before he went to jail With 0 help from anyone and having it turn out successful was a huge accomplishment for us.” Perez stated.
It wasn’t soon after that in July came another show. This time it was the one and only Blueface BABY! “Blueface is a big one too. We brought him out to Pomona at the start of his come up sold out and after the show he literally went viral.” Perez said. Nobody is having more success than him right now.
If you thought last summer was crazy, just imagine what this summer has to offer.
From that time, they have put on two more events, the most recent one in January featuring Inglewood star Rucci.
We also touched bases on what makes each of his artists unique and this is what he had to say:
“DMB GOTTI has one of the craziest work ethics and produces nothing but bangers. KIINGMOSTWANTED makes music in his sleep and the way he performs I know he’ll be booked every weekend real soon. CurtyWill gasses any beat he touches and has a song with 2M plays !! Lastly MCMRAYMOND MR EVERY WEEK HE CAN SING AND RAP. He comes with a different sound and I know will he have a huge impact on this New LA Wave. All our artists are my Brothers and they know ima give my 100 to get them to the top.”
It’s more then just an artist manager relationship, 8K Productions is a family and as each year passes they will become bigger and bigger.
What’s next for 8K? Perez says, “8K in all will continue to grow and I will take all my artist to the next level. Be on the look out for all the shows we will have this year. I wanna give a shout out to all the people supporting us. It’s a whole lotta 8K SH*T. Very thankful to have a strong team. Couldn’t do it without my peoples.”
