San Diego is one of the more underrated areas of So Cal, when it comes to homegrown Hip-Hop. While the Bay & of course L.A. take most of the state’s attention, San Diego has consistently held it down for its residence in a variety of ways. Next up, hoping to contribute to the tradition, is native Mischif, who stops by with his brilliant new album, 10.
Carrying an essence that’s distinctively reminiscent of 90s Southern California culture, Mischif brings a feeling back home that was sorely missed. It’s highly corny when a lot of artists attempt to recreate nostalgic feelings from the past, but Mischif does it with precision and pure authenticity, making for a special connection with the listener.
