New Orleans Native Sean Christian Puts Down The Trumpet For His Solo Debut, “Do What I Say”

While New Orleans soul artist Sean Christian is known for his work as a trumpeter/vocalist for some of the hottest acts in Las Vegas, Sean is making it known that he’s bigger than that. Taking a break from his role in his neo-soul group, The Noir Movement, Christian drops off his debut single as a solo act, “Do What I Say”.

Produced by buzzing west coast beatmaker Such&Such, “Do What I Say” is an infectiously enjoyable song, with a charming energetic surge from Christian during the verses. Bending his voice and utilizing the auto-tune to his disposal, Sean creates unique melodic patterns, making for a lead melody that’s hard to forget. Despite this being void of any of his signature trumpet work, the left-field play is smart, as it establishes Sean as a well rounded force as opposed to a trained specialist.

Check out the record below and be sure to stay hip to Sean Christian.
