Though not traditionally known as a hotbed for Hip-Hop talent, Arizona has started to make itself known over the last half decade. Boasting up and coming talents like Injury Reserve, Lil QWERTY, Futuristic and others, The Grand Canyon State has done a good job of establishing themselves in the west coast landscape. Hailing from Arizona by way of Chicago, rising rapper Devo is always one of the exciting names to add to that list, as he stops by our pages with his festive new video for, “Reappear.”

Produced by fellow popular Arizonian, Hotelroom, “Reappear,” is a calm, enjoyable single that finds Devo dialing down the energy a bit in exchange for silky smooth cadences and engaging one-liners that set the tone perfectly. Utilizing the production, Devo establishes himself as not only a wordsmith, but as well as somebody capable of elevating those around him. Shot by Laka Films, the visuals for, “Reappear,” do a great job of accentuating the aforementioned qualities from the music. Pairing together engaging shots like corner view apartments and choreographed street dances, the video infectiously captures the essence put forth on the smooth record.
