Long Beach native Joey Fatts really puts work in. He’s been going hard with his music for years and “Act Like You Know” is just testimony to his constant elevation. Fatts gets better with every song and he’s putting you on to his struggle with reality raps (“remember grinding while my stomach hurt, but I ain’t cry about it cuz it could be worse, 40 in my baby mama purse..”). At the end of the day you can act like you know, but you really can’t make some stuff up. Joey Fatts keeps that hustle in his music and not everybody genuinely has that, the authenticity is what makes him such a dope artist.
